Happy Wednesday! I don’t have a preamble this week so let’s get right into the ad template.

Today we have an ad template from Marketing Brew, the daily marketing newsletter from the folks at Morning Brew. In case you don’t know Marketing Brew or Morning Brew, they are the best in the business at newsletters.

If you want an advanced degree in growing a newsletter, you can’t beat studying their results. From what I’ve heard, they have good content too.

And, they make good ads. This ad draws attention by showing a (fake) physical billboard in a digital space, and putting a (fake) testimonial on it that makes signing up feel like a no brainer.

If you want to adapt it for your business, you can put a customer testimonial or short list of value props on the billboard. Or, you can get creative and put an image on it that will capture people’s attention…something random yet related to what you do.

You can even put images of people on it. The billboard doesn’t have to say anything. It needs to capture viewers’ attention. Once you figure out what you want on the billboard, add in your logo and a line or two of supporting copy. Test it and see what happens.

Have any questions about this ad template or anything else? Please hit reply and let me know. I read every response to this newsletter and welcome questions and feedback.

Until next week,
Jack Kaufman
